My trees are Beautiful! The crew gets right to work and stays working with little supervision. Billy is a really nice person and freely offers advice to a would be "do-it-yourselfer". It seems they all take a lot of pride in what they do. And it shows! I liked them so much, I'm having them back to do some landscaping.

We were truly pleased with the work of Arboretum Tree Services. Billy Jordan and his crew spent four full days on our property and did a magnificent job raising oak canopies in several areas, removing selected trees, and trimming many others. They left the grounds immaculate at the end of each day and were always on-time to start the next days' work. When walking the yard with Billy Jordan and discussing the work that needed to be done I knew I was dealing with someone that truly cared about the quality of his work, the satisfaction of his customer and the future health of the trees involved. Arboretum Tree Services went way above and beyond what they had contracted to do. Billy's people worked extremely hard (even when he wasn't there to supervise) and did a top notch job. While my wife was concerned about how much growth was being removed (due to so many years of neglect) Billy reassured her that she would be happy with the end result which she is. My yard was actually cleaner when Arboretum was finished with their work than it was when they started. I am anxious to see how the "final product" will look this summer when their work now will show with lush growth providing a full canopy over our yard. I have no doubt that Arboretum Tree Services not only improved the health of our trees but greatly increased the value of our home and property. While other people that gave me quotes for the work were trying to see how much work they could get out of doing Billy told us how much needed to be done and why. Billy Jordan and crew were hired to clean up all of the oaks in our yard. He thought it may take up to 2 days. When the crew arrived in the morning, they were actually able to finish the whole yard before dark on the first day. Due to the drought we had all summer, I had spent hours and hours hand watering all of my beds and my biggest concern was that the trimmings and cuttings would crush everything that I had spent so much time keeping alive. They were so careful and nothing was damaged. Every branch, leaf, and twig was removed and the yard looked like they had never been there other than the trees looked great. I was compelled to add my own review for Arboretum Tree Services since it was the feedback on this site that led me to contact and ultimately hire them for all of my tree maintenance needs. First and foremost let me say that Billy Jordan (the owner) is hands down the most professional businessman that I’ve dealt with in a really long, long time. Having recently moved into my first home I’ve spent ungodly amounts of money for things both planned and unplanned, and the one truth that I’ve come to realize is that the vast majority of so-called “professionals” out there will always over-promise, under-deliver and do whatever it takes to get the most amount money for the least amount of work and concern for the consumer. It never ceases to amaze me how so many companies these days put such a low premium on customer service. It’s such a simple concept that most people choose not to master. That’s where things begin with Billy Jordan and his company – Customer first! Like many of the other reviews have stated, I called up Billy with a few questions and he showed up to my property within a couple of hours. He spent quite a bit of time looking over the property, asking what my needs and expectations were and then explained what he could do for me. He answered every single question I had and never tried to rush me through the process. One thing I noticed right from the start is that Billy is very concerned with the aesthetics as it relates to your trees and property. He spent as much time evaluating how things would look as he did assessing the crucial needs for each tree on my lot. After doing a thorough walkthrough he presented me with an estimate on the spot. As for the cost, his price was very fair and I can assure you that Arboretum Tree Services provided me the most bang for the buck with respect to my bid. Billy and his crew were prompt and on time the morning that he promised to be there. They worked non-stop almost from the moment they arrived until the time they left. What’s more impressive to me is that Billy stayed on site and supervised every aspect of his crew’s work to ensure that it met both of our expectations. I can’t stress enough just how important that is in the grand scheme of things. This company’s accountability and quality control is off the charts! I had to leave before the job was complete, but upon my return Billy came back to my home and personally walked me through the entire property and explained every aspect of what his crew had done. The work was remarkable and more than what I had expected. My yard was impeccable and dare I say even cleaner than before Billy’s crew arrived. If you didn’t see the property before, you’d never know that several trees had been worked on all day. As he walked us through, my wife and I could see the true pride in both workmanship and ownership that Billy brought to the table. The man really loves what he does. If you’re reading this then you are probably as thorough and skeptical as I am. In the past year I’ve come to realize a very simple and common truth as a homeowner and general consumer - no one will care about you or your situation as much as you do. That’s been my experience in recent times and it always stings when you write that check and feel you’ve compromised even just a little part of what you expected. If you’ve ever been there and are now shopping for a tree service, then please look no further. I’ve already referred Arboretum Tree Services to a couple of friends and will continue to endorse them to anyone who ever has the need for their expertise. Billy Jordan is the only professional I’ve dealt with in the past few years who’s cared as much about my concerns as I did, if not more. Billy Jordan's Arboretum Tree Service did an outstanding job trimming two very large and very tall oak trees in our front yard. The crew worked at dangerous heights professionally and safely using ropes and ladders. They were very efficient. The yard was cleaned up leaving absolutely no trimmings, leaves or other debris. This is the best tree trimming job I have ever contracted for and was done at a very fair and competitive price. Arboretum Tree Services came today to do a massive tree removal and yard clean-up. The owner called the day before to confirm the time and appt. They arrived on time and set to work immediately. Four men did the work and they worked through rain and heat. They worked well together, showing a spirit of team work and pushed to complete the work. They did an excellent job and after the trees were cut down, they removed all of the debris. They raked the beds and yard and left things much better than when they arrived. The owner, Billy Jordan, arrived with his team and worked with them the entire time. When he presented the bill, it was for the exact amount that he quoted before coming to do the work. I give this conscientious small business owner ten stars. I can't remember when I have been this pleased with work that I contracted. I recommend this company without any reservations. We met Billy Jordan and his tree service company two weeks ago through our Arborist, who told us we could trust him with our Oak trees for much needed trimming and shaping. And the removal of two big Red Oaks, that had to be removed due to inproper trimming from the previous owner. Billy showed up on time with his Crew and worked in a very professional manner for two days and he personally cable tied our huge Red Oak to prevent it from splitting. The crew kept working even when he wasn't around, and carefully moved our garden decorations making sure nothing was broken and replaced them afterwards. After the trimming they picked up all the branches and even the saw dust you would never know they had done such a big job back there. We were very satified with their job and his reasonable price. But if that wasn't enough, today he answered my call for help. When he came by to help me take down a fallen limb from one of my other trees, that had almost fallen right over our house jeopordizing our safety and almost causing structual damage to our property and our neighbors. We are very happy to know we can count on such a reliable company as Billy Jordon Arboretum tree service, for emergencies such as these and to keep our trees in a healthy state. Billy Jordan and his crew cleaned, shaped and lifted three live oaks and one large red oak in the front and back of my home. It was not an easy job but, thanks to Billy's expertise and care, the trees are now a perfect frame for my house. One of the live oaks concerned me because it was meandering toward my neighbor's yard but it looks lovely with the professional facelift and the neighbor is quite pleased. As others have commented, Jordan and his men removed all the debris before they left. It's a rarity to find someone who takes as much pride in their work as Billy Jordan, and I know others will be as satisfied with his service as I am.

Billy and his crew performed exceptionally. I was apprehensive at first as I didn't want to take out too many trees. I also only expected them to take out the dead branches and eliminate the ball moss. However, to my surprise, the more they worked the better I understood why they should take out certain trees and leave others. The workmen were phenomenal as they scurried up and around in the trees to eliminate the smaller branches all along main trunks and limbs basically leaving the upper canopy for future fullness. The job was completed in a matter of hours to perfection. The clean up was beyond expectation. Billy personally tended to the fertilization of the remaining trees. The crew continued without supervision in Billy's absence. The price seemed expensive initially...however, upon seeing the finished product and the amount of work and effort in the project and the long-lasting effects of their work...I knew I had a super value for the cost. As one always states...you get what you pay for! I would recommend Billy and his superb workers to anyone; understanding my recommendation is a direct reflection on me for referring them. I was expecting Billy to show up with a couple of workers but to my surprise he showed up on the time and day he said he would be there. Not only did he have 5 workers but they didn't stand around waiting for someone to tell them what to do. Billy pointed to the trees which needed work and they jumped on them. In 2 days they trimmed and stripped the ball moss off 15 large oak trees. Billy had to leave for a couple of hours and the workers continued to do their job. Billy and his crew spend 5 very full days trimming (and removing some) of our over 100 trees. They were always on time, worked very hard, and were very polite and very professional. I was looking for an arborist - not just a tree trimming service. Billy fit the bill. They were extremely competent and knowledgeable. We had several trees over the pool and they were very conscientious about cleaning the leaves that fell into the pool. The trees look GREAT, more importantly they are healthier now. They were not inexpensive (nor were they the highest bid we received), but they were very well worth the money. I recommend them highly.

I never write reviews, however, I was so impressed with the work of this company, that I asked the owner, Billy Jordan, if I could be a reference, and he told me I could post comments here. I was unsure who to call for tree trimming, and got a few different bids. Arboretum's bid was competitive, but I was mostly impressed with the owner. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He walked through the yard and we discussed the work that needed to be done. He made suggestions and gave me a bid on the spot. His crew was there within the week, and Billy was with them for most of the job. The crew was professional and polite, and worked quickly, and efficiently. But what impressed me the most, was how tidy my yard was after they left. Most of the work they did was over my pool, and it was immaculate when I got home. They moved patio furniture, and carefully put it back. And there was not a leaf out of place. It looked better than when my yard man leaves. The much neglected oak tree over my pool is very artistically trimmed, and the hackberry that threatened my roof is gone without a trace. I would HIGHLY recommend this young man for any tree trimming services. He has a good eye, a great crew, and an old fashioned work ethic.

Due to our work and travel circumstances, he also worked with and timed the work such that we could be present while it was accomplished. The cedar debris was completely removed with minimal disturbance to the property, and the oaks were trimmed of dead branches with minimal mess.

“We had about fifteen big oaks both front and rear that needed some serious attention due to the prior owners negligence. Out of three companies only one answered and that was Arboretum Tree Services. The Owner Billy was very courteous and came out promptly to give us an estimate. Unlike the other two tree companies, Arboretum provided us with their proof of insurance, customer satisfaction surveys, and pictures of some of their work during our visit. Yes we were impressed, but still wanted to get other bids. After finally receiving the other bids, we chose Arboretum because of their professionalism, even though they were not the cheapest. They showed up and did an excellent job! Taking many precautions not to damage the house and our outside possessions. The job was always supervised and we were kept in the loop at all times, making my wife and myself a little more comfortable.
